The Canary Diet* is the down and dirty truth about nutrition and how certain foods and ingredients affect your body, particularly circulation. The classic “canary-in-the-coal-mine” for cardiovascular disease is erectile dysfunction (note the awesome cover art), but there are many other warning signs that are less gender specific and equally important to heed. This book talks about those, too.

Did you know that according to a Johns Hopkins study, over 18 million men in the U.S. are affected by ED? The World Health Organization states that, “Sexual health is fundamental to the physical and emotional health and wellbeing of individuals, couples and families, and to the social and economic development of communities and countries.” If the World Health Organization feels that strongly about the importance of sexual health, shouldn’t we all be a little concerned?

The Canary Diet is a 100 page staple-bound book that gives you an outline for preparing healthy meals, combining foods, and understanding ingredients. It’s a much more detailed version of, “Eat more vegetables, moderate protein, and almost no processed crap,” but, really, that’s what it’s all about. There are also a lot of statistics and facts to back up the concepts. Over 50 recipes are included. THIS IS A GUIDE, NOT A STEP-BY-STEP. The Canary Diet gives you “hows” and “whys” and samples to work from; it does not hold your hand and tell you exactly what to do. Although, The Endocrine Reboot (another book of mine) does exactly that.

Every year, over 600,000 people die of heart disease in the U.S. – about 25% of all deaths. And that doesn’t include the people who have non-fatal heart attacks. Heart disease affects all ethnicities and ages to varying extents. Much like ED, lifestyle habits are a major contributor to cardiovascular disease. The guidelines in The Canary Diet can help you identify and improve lifestyle factors that affect circulation and overall wellbeing.

The Canary Diet is for people who want the basics, but don’t want to be told exactly what to eat. It’s fact-filled, concise, and easy to understand.

The vast majority (not all – talk to your doctor, always!) of ED and other cardio-vascular problems are blamed on or made worse by lifestyle choices and habits – that means diet, activity, chronic stress, and poor sleep. The best time to intervene is before problems arise, but much of the damage done by poor lifestyle habits can be un-done by good lifestyle choices. Let The Canary Diet be your starting point for life-altering changes. You are worth it, because – let’s face it – life is better with good circulation.

Description

The Endocrine Reboot* is a 14-day diet plan designed to ease the transition away from the Standard American Diet (SAD) toward healthy eating habits. The meals are planned to appeal to a western palate while drastically reducing the ingredients that negatively affect health outcomes. Everything you need to jumpstart your journey to health is included: grocery list, detailed cooking and preparation instructions, snack options, and helpful tips and information.

This is not a fad diet. The Endocrine Reboot is based on cutting edge science and time-tested techniques to create the perfect starting point for life-long health and vitality. Vegetable-based does not mean “vegetarian;” it simply means that a large portion of your nutrients are derived from fruits and vegetables. Meat is a part of almost every meal. This is a balanced plan abundant in nutrient content with generous portion sizes. Suggested snacks range from unlimited to one serving per day and are clearly outlined by how much of each you can eat in a single day and successfully create new, health-promoting habits. You should never be hungry following this plan.

  • Grocery list
  • Detailed recipes and preparation instructions
  • Snack options and recipes
  • Helpful tips for the kitchen
  • Techniques for creating lasting lifestyle changes
  • Transformation techniques for self-improvement
  • Motivational checkpoints throughout

This is NOT A VEGETARIAN DIET. This 2 week plan is based on the principles outlined in The Aging Balance System, and is intended to create a bridge to introduce health-promoting habits and meals without having to worry about the planning. After completing The Endocrine Reboot, you will have a working understanding of how to plan and prepare meals that are both nutritious and satisfying to your taste buds.

With The Endocrine Reboot, two short weeks could be all you need to start feeling better, have more energy, and realize that you can change your life. Like many of Teresa Landry’s programs, The Endocrine Reboot is meant to be a bridge to get you to the next step. The focus is on details and small steps that determine the difference between success and failure, no matter what path you end up taking. The key to lasting, positive change is not simply knowing what to do; the key is knowing that you are capable and you deserve to succeed.
